Handmade by master craftsman Hideyuki Tanaka, it is made of highly buoyant natural wood material with little variation in specific gravity balance.
When jerking the rod tip close to the surface of the water, instead of the pop sound of flashy splashes of water, it creates bubbles in the water and a crisp bubbling sound that attracts fish.
Recommended action for GATARO is to make a small dart action from side to side by giving a little line slug after medium power jerking.
In case of targeting Tuna, to have the lure keep still for a few second is very effective after the medium power jerking. In case of targeting Yellowtail amberjack, a reeling method with short jerking is more effective, not a "Stop and Go” method.
This lure has a high strength body and its wire is pierced through the body, and this is made of a natural high-floating wood with less unequalness of specific gravity.
